Music Video: The Band Perry - Chainsaw
The Band Perry runs a tree service for the brokenhearted called Love Is Shady Tree Service in the official visual for their new single "Chainsaw" which serves as the fourth single from their second studio album "Pioneer" released on April 2, 2013. In the music video directed by Morgan Susser the country group helps three dejected lovers cut down the trees bearing their carved initials together with those of their significant others' inside of a heart, using chainsaws. The video cuts back and forth from the woods to a live concert played by the band at a local bar. The clip ends with a disclaimer for the environmentalists which states that the video was shot on an Oregon farm where trees are harvested for multiple uses and as such The Band Perry members were only permitted to partake and film the cutting of the preselected trees.
